My third trimester has been pretty great so far. I feel rather large, have horrible acid reflux, my feet often swell up, and I can't function without my daily (sometimes twice daily) nap..... but other than that I feel great! Don't get me wrong- it's quite uncomfortable most of the time, but I kind of really like being pregnant.
Our little angel is still in breech position (she has been the whole pregnancy) so were hoping she'll flip around by show time! She sure is active though, and sometimes her kicks take my breath away. It's such a cool feeling to feel a little person move around inside of me... best part of pregnancy for sure! (I also love how random strangers will ask me about the baby and how workers make jokes about me smuggling merchandise out of the store.)
Thanks to my wonderful parents, we've got the baby's room all painted and I can't wait to finish decorating it. Some days I feel like I'm just playing house, and then it hits me that I'm really going to be a parent soon. Real soon. Am I ready?? Yes and no. I think that's probably every first-time parents' answer. It's definitely going to be a life-changing, learning experience....and I can't wait.
