Carson: Month 5

My baby boy is 5 months old! I can't believe how fast he is growing!

This month Carson:

• Wears mostly 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers
• Weighs about 19 pounds!
• Is sleeping through the night like a champ! He sleeps from about 7:30pm to 7:00am and will usually wake about 2 times a night for his pacifier but goes back to sleep pretty fast
• Can roll over both ways, but rarely does it... though he likes hanging out and sleeping on his side
• Has been having rice cereal for about 2 weeks and is getting the hang of eating from a spoon
• Drinks 4 bottles a day but is super inconsistent about how much he drinks so we waste a lot of formula
• Loves being in a sitting position but is not even close to doing it himself
• Could watch his sister all day long
• Is very ticklish and has the cutest laugh!
• Still drools like crazy, but hasn't got a tooth yet
• Takes 3 naps a day.. a 2 hour one in the morning and then 2 more about 45 minutes each
• Sleeps great in his bed, but not so well in the car or stroller
• Is super happy all the time! Especially when you interact with him.

Carson: Month 4

Carson is 4 months! I just love this age...

This month Carson:

• Weighs 16 lbs. 7oz.
• Wears mostly 6 month clothes, and size 2 diapers
• Has 5 bottles a day of 4-7 ounces, about every 3 hours
• Falls asleep super fast, but has trouble staying asleep (opposite of his sister)
• Is now sleeping un-swaddled and sleeps about 8 hours a night! (but usually wakes once or twice needing his pacifier)
• Takes 4 naps a day still of about 45 minutes each
• Smiles all the time and especially like when we talk baby talk to him
• Is still a fussy eater, and I think it's just because he gets lots of gas... he needs to be burp about 4 times with each feeding
• Has no interest in rolling over yet, but we've started to try to make him do it
• Love playing under mobiles and in his activity chairs  
• Talks quite a bit, especially to daddy
• Has a yeast infection in his chubby leg folds, but it will hopefully get better with the cream the doc gave us
• Loves being in a sitting position and has really good head control
• Drools so much. So, so much!
• Loves bath time!
• Gets super excited and flails around at the sight of his bottle
• Will fall asleep own his own if he's tired enough.. on the floor, on our bed, in his bouncer.. it's wonderful!
• Is such a wonderful part of our family and we don't know what we did without him!
