November Already?

I can't believe it's November already!  I've officially made it through 1/4 of my first year of teaching, and with many stories to share.

October is one of my favorite months, and it went by WAY too fast.  I feel like my schedule was too busy to enjoy the Halloween scene.  We were able to go to the Haunted Forrest (which was awesome!), and I did make some Halloween cupcakes!

BUT, I feel like Halloween just wasn't as fun this year.... Maybe when the kids come, it will be a little more exciting.

Since it is now November, its' time to think about what I'm grateful for. I'm going to try to write about something I'm grateful for each day this month... well almost every day(since I'm starting a little late).

Today I am grateful for..... BOOKS.
I've been really into reading lately, and I love it! I love learning new things and new words and enjoying an adventure while doing it.  Also since Matt is so busy with school and work and church, I have a lot of free time.  And though I do have lots to do- like chores and grade papers, I've gotten through many boring nights with the help of a good book.  I'm also especially grateful for the books that have really inspired me and strengthened me, and specifically the Book of Mormon.  It brings such happiness and peace to my life.. and it's amazing to me that simple words on a page can do that.  I know it's true.
