OK, so I'm not doing to well at this blogging about things that I'm grateful for... but I'm trying :)
My students were being extra complainy today about having to do homework. It made me really angry and I went into lecture mode telling them about how I'm trying to help them learn, but they are just lazy and want me to do all the learning for them. I'm so glad that I enjoyed school and I really miss being a student ever now and then (but then I get a paycheck). I'm soooooo blessed for the opportunities that I have because of my education, and even more blessed that I learned how to learn and that I now value learning.
I just wish my student had the same value for learning.. and even then parents. Got this cartoon in an e-mail the other day, and it's sad how true is....
