3 months

This little cutie is 3 months old!

This month has been full of learning and growing! Here's what Molly's been up to:
  • Now weighs 12 lbs 7oz (still just below 40th percentile) and is 25 inches tall!
  • Is still sleeping great! (6-10 hours at night) I have to wake her up in the morning sometimes to make sure I can get enough feedings in before bedtime.  She takes 4 naps during the day about 1 hour each.
  • Wears mostly 3 month clothes. Some 0-3, some 3-6. And still size 1 diapers (though I think this will be our last box)
  • Smiles and talks A LOT! If I say "Goo Goo Goo", she'll smile and try to laugh.. so cute!
  • Has a fascination with her feet.  She will stare at them forever, but hasn't quite gotten the hang of grabbing them with her hands
  • Sucks on her hand all the time... but won't really take a pacifier unless she's really mad
  • Gets scared when we walk down the stairs.  She'll tighten all her muscles and stick her arms out like she think she's going to fall
  • Has started playing with toys.  She likes her elephant and bear the best.
  • Is being weaned off of her swaddle.  She's getting strong and gets out most of the time, but needs it to fall asleep so we are currently wrapping her with just one arm inside.  She does a lot less grunting in her sleep now that her right hand is out.
  • Loves to look at the Christmas tree lights, and at mommy and daddy while they eat food.
  • Is taking acid reflux medication which seems to be helping, though she is still very fussy at most of her feeding times
  • Has started to entertain herself when she wakes up from a nap.  She just lies there with her hand in her mouth looking around until she make a loud coo and I know she's awake.
  • Hates being held like a baby.  She likes to face outward or over your shoulder to she can see everything.

Here are some more pictures from this month!
