Carson: Month 9

Carson is 9 months old! He's been outside my belly longer than inside now, and just keeps growing and growing.

This month Carson:

• Weighs 21 pounds
• Wears 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• Takes two naps a day: one usually in the stroller on our morning walk and then a good solid afternoon nap
• Loves eating baby food, and does okay with finger food. His favorites are cheese, crackers, prunes and yogurt
• Is crawling super fast and can now climb the stairs easily
• Pulls up to stand on anything he can especially on Molly's chair in her room
• Can wave and clap and says "HI" every now and then
• Has had many bumps and bruises including a fat lip from his sister pushing him over
• Puts himself to sleep at night most nights and sleeps about 11 hours
• Still has just 2 teeth, and I love his gummy smile!
• Had a pretty bad case or croup, but luckily got better fast for his first road trip!
• Loves taking baths with Molly and still cries when we take him out
• Has started to love reading books and like to turn the pages
• Puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, and we can't leave the house without his pacifier
• Loves being included in what the family is doing and hates when we leave the room
• Spent his first night away from mom and dad and seemed to do awesome!
• Likes chasing a ball around or playing on the slide in the basement
• Is SUCH a good baby and we love everything about him!

Carson: 8 Months

Carson is 8 months! Where has my little baby gone?

This month Carson:

• Wears mostly 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• CRAWLS! And is getting faster every day
• Has 2 teeth and seems to be always teething but never getting anymore teeth
• Sleeps a full 11 hours at night and takes 2 naps about 1.5 hours each
• Loves to play with Molly.  She is still the one that can make him laugh the hardest
• Puts everything in his mouth and is getting a lot better at finger foods.  I have to fish things out of his mouth daily though...
• Still loves his pacifier and it's not a good time if we go anywhere without it
• Has a LOT of hair that we will sometimes do in a faux-hawk 
• Is an extremely happy baby! He only cries when he's overtired or get hurt somehow
• Has three 8 oz bottles a day and 3 solid food meals + a snack
• Is rocked to sleep every night now, but it usually only takes a few minutes before he's out
• Would much rather play with mommy, daddy or molly than any toys
• Likes to crawl under the coffee table and piano and to the air vents in the house
• Hates getting his diaper and clothes changed.. it's really the hardest part of my day!
• Makes everyone in our house smile every day.  He is such a sweet and happy boy!

Carson: 7 months

I can't believe how fast the time is going by! How do I have a 7 month old little boy?!

This month Carson:

• Weighs about
• Wears mostly 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• Can sit all by himself! And loves it.  
• Wants to crawl really bad, but hasn't figured it out.. he just stretches him arms and legs and then wiggles them kinda like he's swimming
• Has 3-4 botttles a day depending on how long he naps, but we're slowing getting into a 3 bottle schedule and has about 24 oz of formula each day and 3 baby food meals
• Loves to chew on EVERYTHING! And it stresses momma out beacuse he's almost choked twice now
• East lots of different baby foods.. his favorites are prunes, apples, and yogurt
• Doesn't like chunky baby food or finger food yet.. he just gags and spits it out
• LOVES Molly the best and smiles and laughs on the rare occasion she tries to play with him
• Still loves his pacifiers and can find and put them in himself
• Doesn't really like to to rocked to sleep and sleeps on his tummy
• Is still an awesome night sleeper and sleeps about 11 hours at night
• Takes 2-3 naps a day depending on if we go anywhere.. if we stay home all day he'll take two 2-hour naps which is awesome!
• Is very ticklish and loves to be tickled
• Doesn't "talk" very much but like to squeal and grunt
• His favorite "no-no" things are the piano (he scoots over to it all the time and often hits his head), my phone (likes to eat it), and paper (which he choked on)
• Loves to be outside and enjoys going on long walks with Molly and Momma
• Is starting to be much more aware and cries when we leave the room
• Still has no teeth, but I'm thinking this is the month
• Is such a wonderful addition to our family and he makes my heart melt daily.  I seriously LOVE this boy!!

Molly Words

Molly is talking so well these days, and I never want her to grow old and pronounce things correctly! She says the cutest things and I want to remember them forever so here is a list of some of my favorite "Molly words".

She also calls random things an "indian" and has no idea what that means and knows all the sounds to lots of disney princess songs but doesn't sing them quite right and it's ADORABLE!
