Carson: 8 Months

Carson is 8 months! Where has my little baby gone?

This month Carson:

• Wears mostly 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• CRAWLS! And is getting faster every day
• Has 2 teeth and seems to be always teething but never getting anymore teeth
• Sleeps a full 11 hours at night and takes 2 naps about 1.5 hours each
• Loves to play with Molly.  She is still the one that can make him laugh the hardest
• Puts everything in his mouth and is getting a lot better at finger foods.  I have to fish things out of his mouth daily though...
• Still loves his pacifier and it's not a good time if we go anywhere without it
• Has a LOT of hair that we will sometimes do in a faux-hawk 
• Is an extremely happy baby! He only cries when he's overtired or get hurt somehow
• Has three 8 oz bottles a day and 3 solid food meals + a snack
• Is rocked to sleep every night now, but it usually only takes a few minutes before he's out
• Would much rather play with mommy, daddy or molly than any toys
• Likes to crawl under the coffee table and piano and to the air vents in the house
• Hates getting his diaper and clothes changed.. it's really the hardest part of my day!
• Makes everyone in our house smile every day.  He is such a sweet and happy boy!

Carson: 7 months

I can't believe how fast the time is going by! How do I have a 7 month old little boy?!

This month Carson:

• Weighs about
• Wears mostly 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• Can sit all by himself! And loves it.  
• Wants to crawl really bad, but hasn't figured it out.. he just stretches him arms and legs and then wiggles them kinda like he's swimming
• Has 3-4 botttles a day depending on how long he naps, but we're slowing getting into a 3 bottle schedule and has about 24 oz of formula each day and 3 baby food meals
• Loves to chew on EVERYTHING! And it stresses momma out beacuse he's almost choked twice now
• East lots of different baby foods.. his favorites are prunes, apples, and yogurt
• Doesn't like chunky baby food or finger food yet.. he just gags and spits it out
• LOVES Molly the best and smiles and laughs on the rare occasion she tries to play with him
• Still loves his pacifiers and can find and put them in himself
• Doesn't really like to to rocked to sleep and sleeps on his tummy
• Is still an awesome night sleeper and sleeps about 11 hours at night
• Takes 2-3 naps a day depending on if we go anywhere.. if we stay home all day he'll take two 2-hour naps which is awesome!
• Is very ticklish and loves to be tickled
• Doesn't "talk" very much but like to squeal and grunt
• His favorite "no-no" things are the piano (he scoots over to it all the time and often hits his head), my phone (likes to eat it), and paper (which he choked on)
• Loves to be outside and enjoys going on long walks with Molly and Momma
• Is starting to be much more aware and cries when we leave the room
• Still has no teeth, but I'm thinking this is the month
• Is such a wonderful addition to our family and he makes my heart melt daily.  I seriously LOVE this boy!!

Molly Words

Molly is talking so well these days, and I never want her to grow old and pronounce things correctly! She says the cutest things and I want to remember them forever so here is a list of some of my favorite "Molly words".

She also calls random things an "indian" and has no idea what that means and knows all the sounds to lots of disney princess songs but doesn't sing them quite right and it's ADORABLE!

Does my baby girl have to grow up??

Carson: 6 Months

Happy half birthday Carson!

This boy sure is growing and is such a happy baby!

This month Carson:

• Weighs 18lbs 3oz and is 27.5 inches tall
• Wears 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• Sleeps 11 hours at night!
• Takes 3 naps.. two of about 1.5 hours each and then a 20-30 minute cat nap around dinner time
• Drinks 4 bottles of about 7oz each and has 2 solid food meals a day
• Loves playing on the floor on his tummy. 
• Can roll both ways, but is only good at going one direction so he'll get stuck by the wall sometimes
• Can't sit up by himself yet, but I think he's pretty close
• Does not sleep well in the car or stroller... but sleeps great in his bed
• Makes very loud screeching noises when he's happy(which is pretty much all day)
• Still drools like it's a sport. He would definitely win if it were.
• No teeth yet, and doesn't really have any signs of them anymore except the drool
• Loves it when Molly plays with him even though Molly is a little bossy
• Likes to grab EVERYTHING especially phones and hair
• Is getting more and more blonde... there's still a funny little black patch in the back though
• Makes us smile every day!
