I love to craft, but it's hard to find the time and motivation with a toddler running around all day. I finally got to making a hair bow holder for Molly's room and it turned out pretty darn cute!
A bought a frame at Goodwill, added some hooks at the bottom, painted the whole thing white with my favorite chalky paint, and hot glued on some ribbons. As easy as that sounds, it took me like 2 weeks to actually finish. Molly seems to like it though and liked helping me put the bows on it!
If you every attempt to make one of these here are some expert tips:
1. Don't spend hours in the craft store picking ribbons that go well together.. they are just going to be covered up!
2. Don't glue the ribbons to the very back, then there will be no room to hook the bows. Glue them to the inside ledge of the frame so there's space between them and the wall, or you'll have to rip them all off and do it all over again.
3. Use a leveler or you'll end up making four holes in your wall when you only needed two.
